Ferron Vialone Nano Rice - 1kg

Vialone Nano rice, a semifino variety, is characterised by its small, round grains that absorb twice their weight in liquid, yielding a light and creamy risotto. Originating from a crossbreed between Vialone and Nano rice varieties in 1937, cultivated in the Verona region, benefiting from the rich, alluvial soils and pure spring waters. Its high amylose content allows it to maintain its shape during cooking, making it versatile for various dishes, including risottos and soups. In 1996, Ferron Vialone Nano rice received the Indicazione Geografica Protetta (IGP) certification, ensuring its quality and authenticity.
