Da Morgada Fig Paste is a wonderful accompaniment to cheese plates. It is made according to an ancient recipe using fresh figs and sugar cane, cooked into a paste. It has a sweet delicate, floral taste and is amber in colour with a dense texture. Served with a hard or semi hard cheese such as raw milk manchego is a match made in heaven.
