Mediterranean food is on the menu this Spring

Blossoms are blooming all over Canberra, the weather is warm and daylight savings is bringing us beautiful long afternoons... Spring is well and truly here and we are making the most of it!

After spending the winter months cooped up inside, we are loving being able to spend time outside without needing a puffer jacket, and this absolutely extends to cooking outside. Springtime weather lends itself perfectly to a long lunch—Medditerranean flavours are always perfect for entertaining, so why not fire up the barbeque and invite everyone around? 

Lamb shoulder rubbed with a mixture of olive oil (we love this one from Goldi) and anchovy cream makes for an effortlessly delicious main dish. Pair it with freshly sliced tomatoes topped with burrata and smoked flaky salt, a green salad and an Aperol Spritz—with a beautiful glass straw, of course—and your guests will be transported to Positano in no time!

For dessert, tiramisu is always a classic, no matter the weather. Make it your own with a pistachio or dulce de leche twist.
